Professional Development
Workshops

If you are looking into professional development workshops, you or your organization likely wants to bring together a group of people who are looking to grow professionally.

You want to give this group of people intentional and dedicated time to reflect on their strengths and where they have room to grow. You want them to experience professional development positively and you want them to leave the experience with actionable and concrete next steps.

Perhaps your organization wants to provide professional development for its entire staff. Or maybe only a subset of staff. Maybe you are not interested in professional development for your organization's internal staff, but you are searching for a way to bring people from the community together for a networking event?

Regardless, you are here because you want to support the professional growth of your target group.

What's unique about Shira Baron Coaching professional development workshops?

Shira Baron Coaching professional development workshops have 5 core commitments to participants. Every workshop focuses on a specific content topic while also guiding participants in:

  1. Identifying their natural strengths

  2. Reflecting on their areas of growth

  3. Building authentic relationships

  4. Growing their confidence

  5.  Creating action plans to effectively address their areas of growth

Shira Baron Coaching has developed a unique, evidence-based model that is structured to ensure every participant has opportunities to connect with the content and the 5 core commitments.

The Shira Baron Coaching model does this with a blend of whole group discussion, small group conversation, self-reflection, writing, and creativity. What to expect with professional development coaching?

Step 1: The Diagnostic and the Plan

We get really clear on what you are seeking for the group. We dig into questions including:

1)  Who is this group and how do they overlap?

2) What are your goals for your group?

2) What are your group's current growth areas and pain points?

3) What are your group's natural strengths?

5) What would it look like to invest in your group's growth right now?

Based on what you are seeking for your group, we come up with a workshop program that aligns your goals and investment ability.

Step 2: Collaborative Designing

Now that we know your goals, we can design the program that makes sense for your group. Perhaps we are designing quarterly workshops for the whole staff or a summer retreat full day workshop for leaders? Maybe it's a one-off virtual workshop for a group of professional moms? The options are endless because we customize the program to your group's unique needs, goals, and areas for growth.

We schedule three prep meetings to flesh out our ideas, develop the nitty gritty details, identify the most effective accountability measures, and ensure the programming will meet your group's needs.

Step 3: Action, Assessment, Refinement

We put the program into action! I facilitate the programming based on the conversations we have had and the goals you have identified. And throughout every workshop I guide your group; I ask the right questions, offer support and perspective, and help your group stay focused on steady progress toward its goals.

Why Work With Shira Baron Coaching?

I know how valuable your time and resources are. I am committed to making my professional development workshops worth every minute and every dollar.

I also know how impactful AND unimpactful professional development can be. My own experiences have served as a catalyst for my development of workshops guided by the commitment that they will leave your group inspired, connected, and motivated.

My story

There was a time when my own work as a lawyer looked fine from the outside, but I did not feel right on the inside. I struggled with imposter syndrome and a lack of confidence. I felt unfulfilled and uncertain about the next steps to take in my career.

Although I dedicated time and money to professional development, I never found it particularly useful for growing my confidence or helping me identify how I wanted to grow my career. I would leave the workshops still missing confidence, leadership skills and ownership over my craft.

Today, as a certified career coach, I bring both that lived understanding from my lawyering days and professional coaching training to ensure every group I work with leaves my workshops feeling like they gained something real and concrete.

If you are searching for a way to invest in your group's professional growth and confidence, Shira Baron Coaching professional development workshops can help your group do this in a way that is collaborative, deeply introspective, and highly engaging.

"Oftentimes, what hold us back from showing up with executive presence is our own self-talk, our inner critic. It can be incredibly empowering to realize that you have control over this and can actively quiet your inner critic to allow for your confidence and leadership to shine."

We will schedule a call to discuss.

The three questions that will have the most influence over this are:

  2. What are your goals for this group?

  3. How much time and money are you willing to invest in their growth around the goals?
