Executive Coaching
If you are looking into executive coaching, you are likely in a leadership role. You may not be an executive, but you certainly have a lot of responsibilities on your plate. Your role may look impressive from the outside. You may have significant responsibility, recognition, or measurable success. You may even have awards and accolades because of your achievements.
But, at the same time, there's a part of you that knows you could be leading more intentionally. You want to lead as thoughtfully and authentically as possible, have the largest impact you can, and at the same time, you still value your personal life.
Perhaps you are all too aware that you aren't leveraging your strengths to their fullest extent or that your weaknesses pop up more than you would like. There may still be plenty of times you are uncertain about your leadership choices, overwhelmed by the work, lacking confidence, or not leading in the most authentic way.
If looking for executive coaching, you may feel:
-
A lack of balance in your personal and work life
-
Imposter syndrome
-
A lack of confidence in your leadership
-
Uncertain about how to take your leadership to the next level
-
Stuck in the day-to-day grind of leading with no time to focus on professional development
-
Overwhelmed by too much to do and not enough time
-
Ready to optimize your leadership so you can maximize your impact
A lot of executives and leaders get stuck here. Executive coaching gives you a way to slow down and examine your leadership in a thoughtful and methodical way. Executive coaching allows you to spend time focusing on the art of leading and intentionally developing your leadership in the most resonant and authentic way.
If this sounds like you, you may be thinking, “Okay, but how?”
How does executive coaching work?
Executive coaching is not about adding more to your plate. It is about refining how you carry what’s already there. In our work together, we slow down and examine your leadership closely. Sometimes with a fine-tooth comb. I ask the questions that help you identify when you lead most effectively, where you feel strongest, and where you want to show up differently.
With that clarity, we create a realistic plan forward.
That plan is then broken into small, manageable steps. And you are not doing this alone. Your executive coach is with you every step of the way. Helping you integrate leadership approaches, reflect, adjust, and keep moving forward when doubt shows up. You have someone asking the right questions, offering perspective, and supporting you as you turn insight into action.
Why work with me?
When I was practicing law, it looked like I had it all figured out. But no one could tell how lost I actually felt. I struggled with imposter syndrome and a lack of confidence. I felt inauthentic and uncertain about how to take full ownership over my role. I was not leading my team in the way that would have been most impactful or effective.
With hindsight, it is now obvious that I did not have the tools to develop my leadership style and grow in a way that would effectively advance my career.
That experience gave me a real window into what you may be facing now. And today, as a certified coach, I bring my experiences and my work with leaders across various industries to my coaching.
If I am gifted at one thing, it is asking questions that help you think in completely new ways. I pay attention to what you say, don’t say, and what keeps repeating. I combine my natural skills set with positive psychology, neuroscience, and proven coaching methods to guide our work together through a clear three-step process. You bring the effort and insight, I provide the structure, perspective, and steady support.

What to expect with executive coaching?
Step 1:
We get back to basics
First, we focus on your leadership foundation. We examine what has been feeling challenging and why. You get clear on your leadership goals, what is getting in your way, and the impact you want to have. Vague frustration turns into defined leadership objectives.
Step 2:
We dig into the good, the better, and the places for improvement
We examine the areas of leadership that you are most proud of and the times you feel like you are leading from the most confident and authentic place. We explore who you are as a leader. What strengths come naturally to you. What values guide your decisions. When you feel most confident and effective.
We also explore what is standing in your way from being the most effective leader possible, whether it is uncertainty, fear, old assumptions, or simply not knowing where to focus your energy.
We challenge old assumptions and expand your perspective to apply innovative problem-solving approaches to your leadership challenges. Together, we come up with entirely new ways to think about and address your problem. You begin to recognize where you lead best and how to build from that place.
Step 3:
We put it into practice and plan for the future
We home in on the most effective and resonant way you show up as a leader. We identify the ways you can overlay that version of your leadership on your challenges so that you can show up as your best leadership consistently. Then we develop a leadership roadmap for the next 1-3 years so that you feel set up to succeed and grow in the ways you want.
Executive coaching is not always comfortable or linear, but I stay with you through the process. I ask the right questions, offer support and perspective, and help you stay focused on steady progress toward your goals.
This is the secret sauce. It takes time and commitment and a willingness to lean into the process. And it works.
If you are feeling stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from your leadership goals, executive coaching can help you find your most authentic leadership presence and develop a plan for your future leadership growth that is grounded in your strengths.
